When my husband and I come to visit family in estero, sushi thai too is one of my favorites. The sushi is fresh and so tasty. I love the JB Roll and actually ordered two which may have been a little ambitious. Each roll came with 10 pieces so I had at least 5 pieces to bring home with me. My husband who doesn't eat seafood always enjoys the veggie sushi. It's delicious and some of my favorite sushi I've had!

Love this place...The whole fried snapper for two is excellent, sushi is always fresh, and service is with a smile!

Incredible Japanese & Thai food!!! Some of the best sashimi I've ever had, and I've had plenty. I got the sushi/sashimi/shrimp tempura combo and it was MASSIVE. I never have trouble finishing sushi, but the portion was well worth the money and I had to take home some leftovers. Would have been perfect to split! Great happy hour specials 3-6pm, even on weekends. Friendly service and delicious flavors. Definitely a must visit in Bonita!

I am hooked. I love great Thai and Japanese food and this place delivered both. I had the Panang chicken. Like most Thai restaurants the wait staff tend to keep the heat down when requesting hot... mine came out medium. On a Thai scale 10 being true Thai hot, this was a 3. Most Americans can handle that heat, but for me please put me at a 6 - 7. I dont eat raw chilies, but I can add the Thai chili to my food, and make it thru the whole dish. I love the atmosphere, the staff was quick and everyone helped each other so you never had to wait for service. I have added this to one of my go to places.. and they are close to the Coconut Point Mall which makes it even better for me.

So I also get takeout a lot from here. I called minutes before closing (I had though they closed an hour later). I was about to hang up but they insisted they could take my order even though they were closing up. Can't beat that customer service. Love the food, and the staff is great!

The food is fantastic. The Massaman Curry with tofu is divine. The Tom Kha soup is so wonderful, it can be a meal in itself. The portions are generous too. The staff are always friendly and helpful if you have questions. My friends and I are there almost weekly.

I am so picky when it comes to sushi and this place hit the spot. I stopped in for a quick lunch and it was fast and very good. I just got the avocado roll but it was perfect!

Visiting Florida from up north and heard great things about this place. The atmosphere is cozy and it was packed, definitely seemed like a good sign. Overall though, the food wasn't outstanding. We shared two rolls and a pad see-ew. The pad see-ew was fine, but was served with very small short noodles, far from the tasty long thick noodles it usually comes with. The rolls were okay, but I was pretty upset to find a bone in my spicy tuna roll...and while mistakes happen, with a fish like tuna that means they are likely using tuna scraps for the sushi rather than cutting some nice pieces. In the restaurant's defense they did comp roll. Overall a very friendly staff. I don't think we would come back for sushi, but given the lack of other options in the area and the solid atmosphere and staff would probably visit again for Thai.

Gooooooo for happy hour.... Hours are 3-6:00 pm and the deals are awesome. Showed up for an early dinner around 4:30 and there was almost no one there (beginning of summer). The staff was extremely helpful and generous and the sushi bar chef was great to talk to. I ordered two full rolls (10 pieces) and received a complimentary tuna salad, which was phenomenal, and it was all around $10.00. The food was great, service was better, and the prices are hard to beat for the quality of food.

Delicious! Had the Pad Thai which was delicious and beautifully served! Great portions for lunch!

We walked in with our two year old and they seated us immediately (it was early on a Monday evening, and they weren't packed, but it was pretty full inside). We ordered teriyaki steak and fries (awesome that they have fries!) for our toddler, which he liked very much. My husband and I ordered the sushi "boat for two." It was really great. It would have been more aptly named "boat for four," but I guess that name is already taken by another menu item. On our boat for two were 20 *thick* pieces of sashimi (four each of tuna, salmon, yellow tail, tuna tataki and one other thing that I didn't recognize but really enjoyed), 10 pieces of sushi and two rolls (8 pieces each). More than half the boat remained when my husband and I stopped eating - we were too stuffed to continue. I had the miso soup (it was fine, your basic run of the mill miso soup) and my husband had a salad. The dressing was really good - not too ginger-y, which has been my experience at other sushi restaurants. I'm from Arizona, Michigan and Wisconsin, so I guess you could say that the sushi I've had all my life (except when visiting New York or California) has been mediocre at best. Sushi Thai Too was truly fantastic. The *only* item that tasted slightly fishy was the eel. Everything else was just perfect.

What a pleasant surprise to find this gem thanks to Yelp. We knew it must be good when we walked in and the place was packed. Food was fresh and very flavorful, the prices are fair for the amount and quality of food you get and the customer service was extraordinary. Clean place, prompt service. And delicious food. My first Yelp review and just because they truly deserve it.

My wife and I came here twice in one week on our honeymoon to get the tuna empire and other rolls. This place is uniquely decorated and fun. The service and food is delicious if you are craving Thai or sushi! I look forward to coming again!

I have always stated that what I look for in a restaurant is good food at a decent price, This place has neither. Most of the main courses are priced from fourteen bucks to eighteen bucks. Appetizers run from nine to twelve bucks. To me that is a little steep for Thai food (I ate Thai food here, and cannot comment on the Sushi part of the restaurant). And it is especially steep considering the quality of food. I had the Chicken Pad Thai. Chicken Pad Thai is hard to mess up, but they managed to mess it up here. Here the chicken part of the Chicken Pad Thai was dry, chewy, and tasted like it had been made a week ago. So as far as this place, give it a pass

I love sushi and I love Thai food and Sushi Thai Too does both of these things very well! Menu is big and sometimes I'm not sure what I want to order but whatever I end up ordering ends up being delicious. This time, my husband ordered the sushi boat for 1 and I ordered the chicken Pad Thai. First of all, you can never go wrong with Pad Thai...Second, the sushi boat for 1 was a lot of sushi for one person! I ended up eating half of it. Sushi was fresh, colorful and presented elegantly. You got 2 rolls with a handful of sashimi. Yum! We had a great time and will be returning again soon!

I've been here for lunch and dinner, as well as takeout. The staff is very friendly, the food is always very good. The sushi is very fresh and well prepared. The noodle and fried rice dishes should also be tried. Particularly, the Thai noodle dishes. They are some of the best that I've had.

Everything is good, love this place. I get the tuna yuki a few times a week. It's very consistent. Sushi rolls are excellent. I like the ocean, red Dragon and an amazing tuna one that I can't remember the name of. Curry massaman is another favorite. Their new delivery has been reliable and quicker than I was expecting

This place is packed during the busy season so make sure to call ahead and get a reservation. I went alone and still waited over 30 minutes for one seat at the bar. Someone recommended the curry but what I wanted was sushi so I went that route instead. I started off with the smoked salmon special. On top of that I had the unagi roll and kimchee roll. The Thai sweet iced tea was very good. Edamame was $7 which seemed pricey, but otherwise everything seemed to be priced fairly. I don't know a lot about sushi in Southwest Florida, but I recommend this place because I enjoyed my meal and I would go back.

We love eating here as often as possible. Everything is super fresh. The hardest part is deciding what to get. My fav is the Japanese Ceviche and Tom Kha soup w shrimp. All the sushi has been tasty too.

This place is amazing. Don't be fooled by the fact it's a chain. The service is unbelievably fast. The food has very generous portions and all of the employees meet any need you have at your table. My only negative is that it's small, so in season it must be very hard to get reservations! The food is absolutely amazing and compared to other high end restaurants, it's excellent. My husband got the red snapper and it was 15 dollars cheaper than Roys, and just as good.i love this place and have been there 3 times to know all the good things I felt, were not hit and miss! The menu is huge too and I can see I won't get bored going weekly!

Atmosphere was really nice. Best part if the meal was the Shrimps in a Blanket. Super good! Everything was very fresh. My California Roll was just average but individual sushi pieces were better. Wife's Pad Thai was good. Overall Average+ for me.

We had a great night over fresh sushi and sashimi, coupled with some fried rice and Pad Thai noodles. Small establishment and busy on a Friday when we showed up around 6:30pm. We had maybe a 10 minute wait. Sushi fresh, but most notably... Portion sizes were substantial.

Came for dinner with a large group (10 people) and overall the service was very friendly but slow, and the food was decently good. After we sat down, we had to wait around 10 minutes before anyone came to serve us. We ordered both Thai and Japanese food and it is obvious that they specialize more in Thai cuisine. We ordered the soft shell crab and yellowtail jalapeño appetizer, both were extremely tasty and I definitely recommend it. I ordered the Tekka Don (tuna over rice) as my main dish and it definitely paled in comparison with everyone else's Thai dishes. The service is great, we brought in a birthday cake (yes we were those people) and they had no problem storing it in the freezer for us. They also brought out maracas and helped us sing happy birthday. We had a pretty complicated and long order because of our large party size but they did not mess up our order and were very friendly about everything. Keep in mind the portions are pretty large and I recommend doing family styled when eating here so you can have a taste of everything and the portions are big enough for everyone!

Got take out the other night. Sushimi is awesome and got twice as much as expected. Very good quality at a great value.

A bit slow on the service, but the food was delicious. I ordered the Tom Kha vegetable soup. The soup was very hot, temperature wise, and very spicy. Right up my alley. I also ordered a California roll. The roll was larger than I expected. I paired this with a glass of plum wine. Overall, my bill was reasonable and I left feeling satisfied. I would return to this venue again.

Dynamite roll! And unagi. Handrolls for anyone's taste. Very kind on the wallet, too. Savory rice or noodle Thai dishes. Love it all. It's here - quick, courteous service, and deliciously healthy choices. Sure beats the fast foods inside the neighboring Franke movie theatre. This is an excellent before or after stop when taking the family to the movies. Which brings me to another rant about restaurants. America is about the only place where the Kids Menu not only exists, it dictates whether a restaurant is a "family" restaurant or not. I object. Having to offer this sub-menu makes a commercial kitchen demean itself. My strong personal opinion is that if a kid's not socialized enough to eat more than the congealed nuggets and smashed fries on his highchair shelf, don't take the kid out with you. Meanwhile, decor at Sushi-Thai is very welcoming with its dark wood tables in natural shapes. Outside, the wall garden on either side of the front door is an inventive way to display many real plants in mesh pockets fastened to a wall grid. Real outside. Real inside. Now that's family friendly.

I went between 12pm and 1pm and although they were busy - they were quick to seat me. Every single employee was extremely nice! I had the Pad Thai dish which was great. Nothing but good compliments for me about this place. Go!

My husband and I have been wanting to try this place for the last few years we've come down to Estero/Bonita Springs. We finally got the chance and we were not disappointed. We had both Sushi & Thai - both were excellent. The shrimp tempura sushi roll was fresh and large! The Tom Kha soup had great lemongrass, coconut flavor with the right amount of heat. The Panang Curry was wonderful! I chose medium heat and was glad I did - enough to bring a little sweat to your brow but not so much you couldn't enjoy the flavors! The staff was nice, attentive, but not overbearing or too attentive. The facility was clean, inviting, and they had silk pillows in the booths - perfect for my 3 year old to lay on across my lap (it was her nap time). We'll definitely be going back the next time we come down.

I've been coming here for years and the sushi is as great as it was the first time. The place is nice and clean and the staff is friendly. I can't ask for more.

My family, friends and I have been here many times. The food is consistently great, the service is friendly and not rushed. It's probably the best Thai & Japanese food around. The sushi is our favorite, especially the Sushi Boats. Try this place, you'll go back many times, we have!

Hands down some of the best sushi and masamman curry in Southwest Florida. Overall the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The owners are pleasant and always seem genuinely happy to see you. Of course, I am sure they love everyone's business, but the welcome you get from them goes beyond that. Great staff and restaurant!

Most amazing sushi ever! Jimmy, Victor, Pop, Apple and Vanna are amazing! We eat at least once a week.

From the moment you walk in the door you'll feel a positive energy. My girlfriend and I were greated by everyone including the chefs. I love the tables and decorations, one of the most unique restaurants around in southwest florida. The volcano chicken wasn't the best I've had but it was very good. But the sushi rolls were truly outstanding! So 5 stars for the most amazing greeting I've had in a long time at a restaurant and fantastic sushi.

There is a mix of Thai, Japanese and shushi available and an extensive menu... But we settled on Thai dishes as we love Thai food. We started with beef sate, and although the meat could have been tenderized a bit more, was extremely flavorful, as it should be, and the peanut sauce was worth eating!! My husband had a seafood combo with fried rice which he said was tasty. I'm a big fan of Thais soup but being in Florida I opted to pass and went straight for the pad Thai, which is always a good indication of the quality of their other dishes. It was worth taking the leftovers home, although it was served a bit differently with everything already mixed together. BUT would definitely go back and try their other dishes.. (Did see the Tom yum gong soup and it looked delicious).

Great atmosphere here. The tables and booths are wonderful. Lunch specials were delicious. Well portioned. $9 is not bad for the meal. Very friendly staff, happily adjusted menu items on request. Ordering was simple with the lunch special menu layout. Pick your meat or lack thereof and then pick the sauce of choice for the thai part of menu. Didnt pay as much attention to the Japanese side. I would gladly come back again. Only complaint is that the white rice was a little dry but, im being really nitpicky for that one.

  • David P.

A strange menu of Japanese and Thai which I assumed would be a fusion. However it's more like two separate menus in one. I ordered off the Thai side and I loved that they actually make it spicy as it should be instead of watering it down for Americans.

Solid sushi. Staff is friendly and attentive. Place is clean, and nicely, simply decorated. Atmosphere is casual and comfortable. Sushi menu is mostly standard, with a handful of more creative rolls. I've been here many times and sushi is always good, fresh and safe.

First time at this location though I had seen it many times driving by on Tamiami. My expectations were high given the ratings by other reviewers on Yelp! Went on a Monday night and sat at the Sushi Bar. I wondered if the dining room would be empty and the service would be less on an off night but almost every table was taken. The service was very attentive. The sushi I ordered was well presented, quickly done and quite delicious. I think the experience was great and can't wait to return in order to try more of the extensive Thai/Japanese menu.

My wife and I recently returned from Bonita Springs from a few nights as a get-away. We were craving noodles and Sushi and Sushi Too hit the spot. My wife had Lad Nah and she enjoyed it. I had a few rolls and some sushi. Both were good and what I expected. They did have a few rolls that looked fantastic and huge, although my appetite did not allow me to order these rolls. Great place to grab a bite to eat if you are visiting Bonita Springs and want an inexpensive meal away from your resort. If we crave Thai again while in Bonita Springs we would probably return.

This place is wonderful. They work very hard at pleasing you with great service and great food. We actually go there about once a week.

This is some of the best Thai food I have ever had. The service was a bit slow however and the food is a bit pricey. They offer a wide variety of food both Japanese and Thai. These people definitely know what they're doing. I would come back

Who screws up spicy tuna??? Ugh, there was this gross red sauce on top... Other rolls were ok. Service was good, but I could never go back!

This is a frequent go-to restaurant for our family. The dragon roll is a favorite and we usually order two, as well as the salmon tempura roll. The kids prefer chicken teriyaki. Sushi Thai has a huge menu so everyone in your group will be able to find something pleasing to the palate. They do have a sushi happy hour 4-6 with discounted rolls and edimame. On a side note, I've not made "my own dish" to talk to a party since they've opened in Bonita Springs. I take a platter in to the sushi bar and allow the chefs to create something for me to take ... always a hit!

What's not to love about sushi or sushi thai. Prices are in line with other sushi places and it is good. Service is great and attentive. I would shy away from lunch specials as the portions are small and not cheap.

Off the hook! Ate at the bar and had a sashimi lunch thing...the cuts were the thickest I have had and the freshest. The chef took the time to talk with me and when he found out that I liked spicy food, made a special sauce that was unbelievable....will be back as often as I am in the Ft Myers area.

This place is a gem in the rough. We were looking for a place to eat only to face the frustration of long lines at the tourist hangout restaurants and well known establishments. As we were driving down 41 we spotted (and almost passed) this place in the out lot of a shopping mall. My friend and I ordered the red curry with shrimp and a couple of maki rolls. The sushi was quite good but the curry was amazing! With just the right amount of heat (made to order), generous portions of shrimp and veggies we had to pour the last amounts of curry into the bowls with the remaining rice and happily slurped them down. If I lived in the area I would definitely go back for both the Thai and sushi. I wouldn't call the sushi a grand slam with the two rolls we had but it's definitely worthwhile to try a few more before establishing judgment. The restaurant is not very big but being on the corner it's got plenty of light, is well appointed and very clean; there are even nice touches of Asian flair in the bathrooms. Not being a local I don't know much about the prices in the area but I did find it to be a bit higher than what I'm used to paying in Chicago. They server Beer and Wine and I believe a few Saki selections but there is no bar for mixed drinks. Corkage fee is $10. If you're a local or a sojourning city slicker who's a fan of Thai food do yourself a favor. Skip the tourist traps and chain restaurants on a Sunday night and make your way to this little corner restaurant. You won't be disappointed!

Genre for rating: Japanese/Thai The latest installment of the Sushi Thai chain, this version is no better or worse than the others. I believe, of all things, they have the best chicken fried rice anywhere. Their rolls are tasty, fresh, and basic. For Bonita residents, the location is great, directly off of 41. The prices are a bit high for what you are getting. Service is always good, and this location happens to be newer, smaller, and cozier than the other spots. What I get: various rolls, chicken fried rice Best bet: in the area of craving sushi or basic, fresh Japanese

We visit Bonita Springs every year for two weeks and are always looking for great restaurants to return to each year. This is one of our favorites on the top of the list. While I am always skeptical of restaurants that serve multiple cuisines, this place does each well. The sushi is very fresh and there is a great selection of creative rolls. The thai offerings are excellent. There is a great variety that will satisfy groups as well.
